1. Add oleic acid and hydroxyethyl ethylenediamine to the reaction kettle for acylation reaction in the presence of a catalyst, mainly producing two types of acylated compounds. The acylated compounds are further condensed and dehydrated into rings, generating 2-oleyl-1-hydroxyethyl-2-imidazoline.
2. The alcohol hydroxyl group in 2-oleic acid-1-hydroxyethyl-2-imidazoline reacts with hydrogen halide to produce a product where the alcohol hydroxyl group is replaced by halogen atoms. The halogenated hydrocarbon undergoes an ammonolysis reaction in the presence of a catalyst to produce 2-oleic acid-1-aminoethyl-2-imidazoline. The product continues to undergo amide reaction with oleic acid to obtain the following product.
3. The above products undergo quaternization reaction with dimethyl sulfate under certain conditions to obtain the final product.
This product is non-toxic, non irritating, and belongs to the category of non hazardous, non flammable, and non explosive materials. Store in a cool and ventilated place.
